WHY IS T-BONE STEAK SO GOOD?

Sourced from

Large in size and full of flavour, T-bone steaks cover meat from two of the best cuts of beef - the short loin and the tenderloin. What you get is a composite of the highest quality steak an animal is capable of producing. It’s why it fetches a high price at your local steakhouse.

The duality of T-bone presents two distinct flavours to savvy diners - the filet mignon and the porterhouse. The result is a beautiful combination of rich umami goodness, and wonderful tenderness.

HOW TO COOK T-BONE STEAK

T-bone steak can be cooked using any cooking method. However, we strongly recommend treating quality T-bone steaks with the reverence they deserve. A barbeque on high heat will do the trick to get your T-bone to medium rare in just a few minutes. Cast iron is also a good option for the interior cook.

The Grange Dry Ager

Our dry-aged beef is matured in the purpose-built Grange Dry Ager, a state-of-the-art cabinet that can hold up to 1,000 kg of premium cuts. Inside, temperature, humidity, and airflow are carefully controlled to create the perfect environment for flavour and tenderness to develop.
‍
Over several weeks, natural enzymes break down the muscle fibres, concentrating the beef’s flavour and creating its signature nutty aroma and buttery texture. Each piece is hand-selected, carefully monitored, and trimmed before sale, so you receive beef that delivers a deep, rich umami character and an unrivalled eating experience.
