Australian roast beef

Roast beef should not be confined to the carvery or the RSL buffet. It should be a monthly staple in your home, offering plenty of versatility and flavour in a relatively inexpensive cut. At Grange Meat Co., we produce our own roast beef from high-quality cattle, as well as sourcing it from local producers. You won’t find a fresher beef roast anywhere.

Grange Meat Co. has built a reputation on quality, expertise, and family values. Our legacy to connect people with and families with premium meats lets you indulge in La Dolce Vita at home. We pride ourselves on stellar service, family-run farming and uncompromising quality.

WHY IS ROAST BEEF SO GOOD?

Sourced from

Beef roasts have been a core part of Western cuisine since time immemorial. Roast beef presents the perfect way to feed the whole family with the protein they need without breaking the bank. From the classic roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, to the famous Katz’s Delicatessen’s pastrami Reuben, you can’t go far without running into a beef roast.

Beef roasts don’t come from just one part of the animal. They can come from several, leading to a diverse flavour. If you’re looking for quality roast beef, shoot for one that is dry to the touch. If it has a protruding bone, ensure that the bone is white. These rules will deliver better-quality cuts to your kitchen.

HOW TO COOK ROAST BEEF

There are dozens of ways to cook roast beef including braising, roasting, barbequing, grilling, and slow cooking. Whichever method you choose, we recommend searing your meat on all sides first. This will produce a delicious external crust while preserving the moistness and tenderness in the interior. For recipe tips, visit us in-store.

Over several weeks, natural enzymes break down the muscle fibres, concentrating the beef’s flavour and creating its signature nutty aroma and buttery texture. Each piece is hand-selected, carefully monitored, and trimmed before sale, so you receive beef that delivers a deep, rich umami character and an unrivalled eating experience.
